We’re homeless!

This is part of our moving adventure! To start at the beginning, go here.

Well, up until today, we were fooling ourselves. Since we only went to Rochester yesterday, a fairly typical weekend stop for us, our systems were all set to relax, then go back to Torrington. Except we didn’t. We kept going west, and after a couple more state lines had passed, it finally hit us. WE’RE ON AN AWESOME ADVENTURE! Today’s highlights included:

Farewells in Mendon.

Bye, Craig!

Sightseeing at one of the more geologically interesting areas along the US-Canada border.

And Mike’s daily bridge picture:

We have landed just west of Cleveland, OH for the night. Just as we were passing the city, we got a wave (courtesy of our bikes, no doubt) from an IMBA-stickered car! Yay mountain bikers! The kitties are still eating, drinking, and excreting, usually at the times they find most convenient for them… and most inconvenient for us. We got a case of the giddies on the way into town when we saw a sign that said “HC” with a red circle around it and a line through it. There was a similar sign that said “HM,” which we took to mean “Hazardous Materials,” but “HC?” What could it mean? No Harnessed Cats? No Hipster Communists? No Husked Corn? No Hopping Cabbage? Perhaps we will never know. Or maybe it’s just for Hazardous Cargo.
