It’s pronounced ‘Day-Mwah’, not ‘Duh-Moine’

This is part of our moving adventure! To start at the beginning, go here.

Just like Illinois is pronounced ‘EEL-EE-NWAH’. Trust me, I know these things because I took two semesters of French class 17 years ago. In any case, Illinois is pretty flat.

Iowa is even flatter, and has the world’s largest truck stop:

Missouri is also pretty flat, but we’ll skip the flat picture in favor of more interesting things. We headed into Kansas City for lunch at a Diner, Drive-Ins and Dives restaurant, and got a great bridge picture for Mike.

And this, folks, is Kansas.

We depart tomorrow morning from Wichita for higher elevations, more mountainous landscapes, and colder weather. It’s hard to believe, but we have been on the road for 6 days, and we have 6 more to go. Seattle, here we come!

  1. Halfway !!!! So I would like to point out that unlike most blogs yours is not filled with useless information about why one “celebrity” did something to another “celebrity” or any constant reminder that you are on twitter #twitterisdumbreallydontwehavebetterthingstodo…likegooutside. Also I must compilment you guys on you photograph to take the time to actually load the full image and not some pixelated one make this even more enjoyable. Go luck and keep on truckin’
